Stephanie Tuckwell works in mixed media using paper, fabric, gesso, netting,
wood and gold leaf. Her inspirations are figures and clothing and her aim is
to produce delicate work with a hidden strength.

Amanda Kettlewell produces work on an Elizabethan theme but her methods
are right up to date. Layers of stitch are burned and distressed
to produce a delightful result.

Jean Draper is well known as Chairman of the Embroiderers' Guild.
In her article, she describes her current work and her struggle to
overcome 'stitcher's block'.

Pippa Dobson has written a delightful article on church embroidery
throughout the ages, emphasising the opus anglicanum work of
medieval times.
