Embroidery is published by the Embroiderers' Guild, a registered charity and museum, with 10,000 members and 195 branches in the UK and Ireland. The Embroiderers' Guild also publishes Stitch magazine and holds a museum collection of over 11,000 embroidered objects. The collection is of national significance as a resource of inspiration for artists, and for the study of the material evidence of many cultures. The Guild runs international tours and courses, and members enjoy access to local branch meetings and workshops, a reference library, competitions, events, regular newsletters and an online Members' Forum.
