Thank you The World of Embroidery readers for the anonymous pocket and donation and wonderful letter regarding our supporter Barbara Blacoe's campaign for Breakthrough 'Pocketful of Dreams'. I have spoken to Barbara who has received over 200 very special pockets, which is fantastic! The closing date for pockets is 30th November when Barbara will begin to put the piece together. She is hoping to have it finished by the beginning of next year. She has asked me to thank you and all The World of Embroidery readers for your tremendous support of the campaign and we share her sentiments too.

Editor's note: We have featured the pockets stitched by readers on the News page (see The World of Embroidery March 1998 issue for the original item). More slides have been received from Breakthrough and we hope to show these, and the completed hanging, in a later issue of The World of Embroidery.
