Design in Patchwork and Quilting

January 2004

I have started a C & G course in Patchwork and Quilting Pt 1 but I am not sure how to go about the design side of it. I can see the sense in having a design to follow but I cannot see the sense in drawing lots and lots of patterns using material such as coloured paper, pins, sticks and lots of other useless items. I wish they would let me use a design that I like and progress from there.
