A Happy Customer

Do other embroiderers sometimes wonder what happens to their work when it is sold? Who has bought it and whether it is appreciated? I made a cushion for the Cushion 2000 project that I was quite pleased with and duly sent it off to HQ. I always wondered what happened to it and whether it got sold or was among the remainders.

The messages inside Christmas cards are often quite interesting, but I received one from a total stranger that was a lovely surprise. 'I have been meaning to write to you all year to tell you how delighted I am with your cushion which my son and daughter-in-law gave me, having purchased it when it was exhibited in Sheffield. I have it on a white sofa and it looks fabulous.'

I'm glad it found a good home.
