May 2002
I am 51, disabled and housebound, and have to spend 22 hours a day in bed. I am desperate for any patchwork, unfinished or finished, embroidery threads and materials to raise money for the Pasque and Keech Cottage Hospices. I would appreciate anything and will reply to everyone trying to save my sanity.

November 2002
I would like to thank everyone for their generosity in response to my appeal. It's so hard being virtually bed bound at 52 but your readers have inspired me. My sale of work is in November and I will send photos.
