Like-minded
ThreadsI have set up a group called 'Like-minded Threads', for everyone who would like to talk with like-minded friends. We have workshops, help beginners with techniques and support each other.
I started it as I have a mobility problem which means I am working in total isolation. I would love to see shows and exhibitions, but cannot get to them, so the only way for me to find out what is happening is by looking at online shows and talking to people in our group who go to them. I am passionate about being a textile artist and am sure there are a lot more like me that do good work but are hiding behind the able-bodied artists.
