I am in the process of setting up a needlepoint business in the West of Ireland and am planning on employing a stitch design software which produces a design on chart, a colour listing and an indication of wool amounts used. After looking at several software packages, I would be interested in finding out how exact the given wool amounts are, especially if adapted to needlepoint. Could anybody who uses such a program give me advice in this matter and please also tell me if there is a qualitative difference between the companies as the software prices differ greatly.

If Anja Salmon gets a response in her quest to find software, could you please send me the information as well?
Thanks.

My goal for 2002 is to locate a really good and highly recommended software for designing needlepoint charts, working up colour schemes and figuring out wool amount requirements for Windows 95. Please, please, please any bit of information would be fantastic to receive.
