I have as usual, just read The World of Embroidery from cover to cover, abandoning all the work I was supposed to be doing this morning. However, I felt I had to stop a little longer to tell you how exciting I thought the idea was of following an article in the magazine and downloading from its web site.
I am a distance learning tutor at Gloscat, Cheltenham, currently working towards putting my DL felt course on the web, and it seems to me that there are so many possibilities here which could benefit the magazine, the Guild and my course (personal interest too).

Your article is right on target and your embroidery is lovely and so creative!! To myself, I dismissed purchasing an embroidery machine, wondering what I would ever do with it to make it worth the $$$. I may have to reconsider. Thanks for sharing.

I have just re-read the past two years issues of The World of Embroidery while convalescing and they were just as exciting and inspiring as the first time around, so thats the first thank you. Another big thank you for the wonderful article and free gift in the November issue . . . Take A Letter was great, inspiring . . . wonderful! It really made me want to have a go. I hope we can have more articles of this kind, especially as more and more embroiderers are using the new technology in their work. I also downloaded the program Xenofex after your earlier review and loved it. More, more, more, please!
