Regarding tools on aircraft, I'm one who was dismayed to lose my embroidery scissors and needles to baggage and therefore precious handstitching time on several long flights right after September 11th. However, I was able to use the time catching up on reading Embroidery; a copy always goes on holiday with me. With sketchbook/notebook and pencil it was bliss not having the normal interruptions, and time to think through some design ideas. Let's hope pens, pencils and paper are never considered dangerous! Next time I will include a glue stick and a few colour pencils. Apart from laptop work, what other suggestions do readers have?
