Embroidery

Letters Online

Transition

I feel I must write to express my disappointment in the last few issues of Embroidery. I feel that the comment by the editor that sales of Stitch have taken readers from Embroidery may be due somewhat to the fact that Stitch is readily available in newsagents, but I have never seen a copy of Embroidery on the newstands. I have recently been going back through back issues of World of Embroidery 1994 and feel that most of the articles are still as relevant today. I wonder if I will be able to say the same
of the magazines from 2002, I somehow doubt it. I am all in favour of experimental embroidery, but some things just go too far.
